• 2006 Paul Phelps made a presentation to the Grimsby Probus Group (Retired Professional Business Men and Women) on Development Issues, Greenbelt Legislation, and Places to Grow Act using one of its successful conversion projects, Carnegie Lofts, as an example
• 2006 Phelps Homes was a major sponsor of the 2006 Women's Hospital Auxiliary Fashion Show - $18,000 was raised to go towards the building of the new West Lincoln Memorial Hospital
